DP Curriculum

At the very centre of the Diploma Programme Curriculum Model is the Learner Profile which is the IB mission statement translated into a set of learning outcomes for the 21st century. Diploma students study one subject from each of the six subject groups and in addition to this, all Diploma students also fulfill the three requirements at the core of the programme: the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Creativity, Action, Serivce (CAS).

The Extended Essay (EE) is an in-depth study of a question relation to one of the subjects studied.

Theory Of Knowledge (TOK) is a course designed to encourage student to reflect on the nature of knowledge by critically examining different ways of knowing.

Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) requires the students to actively learn from the experience of doing real tasks beyond the classroom.
