    The business management course is designed to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of business management theories, as well as their ability to apply a range of tools and techniques.

    School History

    ISSR is an IB Continuum school offering PYP, MYP and DP to students meeting the entry requirements. The IB Diploma Programme (DP) moved in to Bohusgatan 24-26 in 2010. After two years ISSR opened up for students in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). At the begining of that school year, ISSR had around 120 students in total in PYP, MYP and DP. In 2016 we became an IB Continuum school and in 2017/2018 we had more than 600 students.

  • Fees and Tuition

    There are no tuition fees at ISSR. School lunches and classroom supplies are also free. There is a fee for after school care, and if you would like to participate in extra curricular activities there is also a smaller fee.

  • Further Studies

    The IB diploma is a passport to higher education. Universities around the world welcome the unique characteristics of Diploma Programme students and recognize the way in which the programme helps to prepare for university education.

  • Final Exams

    Final Exams sessions take place at the end of year 3. The students sit exams in all six of their subjects in May. Before that, they will have mock exams just after the February break.

    The grades awarded for each of the six courses range from 1 (lowest) to 7 (highest). Students can also be awarded up to three additional points for their combined results in Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay.

    The main objective of assessment in the PYP is to provide feedback on the  learning process. It is an ongoing process to inform teaching and learning. Assessment in the PYP is internal and carried out by teachers.

    Students receive a healthy and well-rounded meal served each day. There is always a vegetarian alternative.

    Special meals are available upon request, for health or religous reasons.

    The library support the work of the school, offering everything from literature to databases and online services, with staff on hand to advise both students and teachers.
